128 BIT OF A GROK...

I write these stupid little posts when the muse takes me. So often, I knock out four, five, or six articles in one session and then sit on them, so there is something new every day (or nearly every day). But I've got stuff going on at home at the minute, so I have more important things on my mind right now, so my focus is elsewhere.
I've hit the wall, somewhat understandably. I've run out of things to investigate, break down, comment on, or mention. I've hit the wall hard. It is swings and roundabouts, though. Yes, I'm struggling with content, which is terrible, but seeing as no one reads this blog, it isn't the end of the world. If you stumble across this post, leave a comment or give me a shout-out...
We are currently exploring AI at work, so I wanted to give Skynet a crack at providing inspiration. Although AI can do powerful and impressive things, it is also really dumb and requires a lot of human input to produce anything of value, which kind of defeats the point for me at the moment.
I was about to give up when I saw the Grok 2 on X (don't judge me; I only keep it for memes and jokes) and decided to add a basic request to see what it spat out. The request was, "Draw a modern white Abarth 500 rally car in martini racing colours driving along an alpine pass at speed."
As you can see, the results vary in quality from not bad to utter rubbish; such is the power of AI at the minute - although I'm convinced it will get better at an exponential rate.
There are dedicated apps for creating AI images. I might try them when I run out of inspiration next time; it won't be too long. So this is what Grok 2 thinks an Abarth 500 in Martini rally colours looks like on an alpine road. If this is anything to go by, we are not in too much danger of the machines taking over...yet!
